Hello, Maggie Brown here, and I want to ask you some questions.

How many people in our society would love to have better health?

How do you cope with the battlefield in your body?

Most people don’t want to know – they just keep on eating what they’ve always eaten, and wonder why they are feeling worse every year. A lot of the ill-health and feeling of being under par is caused by what you eat, and can also be alleviated by making some changes in your diet.

What do I mean by “the battlefield in your body”?

There really is a war going on in there! The war between the free radicals and the antioxidants.
Who will win?

That depends on how you handle the situation.

If you want a chemistry lesson you’ll have to do the research yourself – I’m only giving you the short story here.

What we know as a free radical is an atom or molecule that has a single unpaired electron in an outer shell. Free radical damage is closely associated with oxidative damage, and we can think of it as being similar to the effect of oxygen on iron, which is destructive in the form of rust. In our bodies antioxidants combat the effects of these free radicals.

What is the food that is rich in antioxidants and tastes delicious?

If you said chocolate you’d be nearing the truth, but not just any chocolate,
it must be healthy chocolate.
